WE'RE BACK!!!
Ok, five months, yeah I know it's been five months but hey, I've been busy (yeah that's it, busy). Here are some of the highlights you may have missed since my last real update:

This is Barbara - the latest addition to the family (although she won't hold that title for much longer......) The 4Runner served valiantly but all good things must come to pass and this summer saw Barbara taking the torch. The king is dead, long live the king....

Barbara's first big test was to get us from Halifax to Quebec (Mount Sainte Anne to be more specific) for our fabulous summer vacation with Jason, Tracy, Dom and Amanda and Jeremy. We had a blast hanging out with everyone and definitely owe Jason and Tracy for setting up a great holiday!!

Quebec will also go down as the place where the Kwasny family got one bigger - yep as you probably guessed from the countdown Nardine is pregnant and Quebec is where it all started. Nard's pregnancy has been going very well and we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of either Addison or Jack. Dylan is very excited to be a big sister and can't wait to teach the new baby a million things (I'm thinking that some sort of helmet for the baby may be in order!!)

The even better news is that we are not the only one's expecting - Tracy and Jason are keeping up with us and have #2 due this summer as well. Needless to say grandparents on all sides are extremely happy however if I were them I would start to worry about the growing cost of Christmas gifts! Speaking of Christmas, we had a great time in Morrinville and Victoria this year. Amanda and Jeremy did a great job of hosting Christmas Eve and I think that their house will forever be remembered by Dylan as the "Place of the Chocolate Fountain"! Mom also was an excellent host over the holidays and I personally was amazed by the fact that everyone wasn't issued a pair of plastic covers to put over their feet before coming into the house!!

After Morrinville it was off to Victoria where we didn't have to go home until February! Nardine had a great time being spoiled by her mom and hooking up with all her friends that she hadn't seen in a while (special congratulations to Toni and Dean on there holiday engagement!). I got a chance to hit the slopes again after almost four years (damn the East coast and it's lack of mountains!) and definitely enjoyed the Scotch festival - what a great way to spend an evening - I think!... Dylan of course loved spending two whole months with both grandmas and grandpas and hasn't stopped asking about them all since we've returned home - that couldn't have anything to do with all the spoiling could it?
After all the running about it was back home to Halifax where the big news was the birth of our friends Christian and Leanne's son Sebastian and Clive and Ambur's daughter Viola. Both are now seven weeks old and are happy and healthy.

Well that only leaves the last big thing on my list. After much deliberation, Nardine and I figured that we were much overdue for a vacation with only the two of us so we've booked ourselves a twelve night cruise aboard the
Explorer of the Seas on the Southern Caribbean! Now as the cruise doesn't leave for over a year (24th February, 2008) I'm sure you are bound to hear much more about it on this blog between now and then but for now here's a photo of the ship we'll be sailing on!
That's it! Hope you're all well and look forward to seeing/talking to everyone in the new year!
